Does anybody know when Nikon is going to replace the shutter of our D7000?

Joe Pineapple don't you have a more intelligent topic to make your argument? Does the title make or brake the rule? It the title was DSC_3599.Raw would you have understand better?

imoan: I really cant see the problem, nobodies forcing you to download the firmware, if you have already cant you reinstall the older version? someone must have access to it somewhere?

All major manufactuers batteries are expensive, its easy money for them, but I dont hear people complaining when camera bodies come down in price, and you get alot of camera for your money these days.

look at the bright side, at least you did'nt pay alot for the batteries you cant use anymore!

Sure the lens issues are a pain, but again not many people slagging off Sigma for ripping off nikon's/canon's technology in the first place to make the lenses compatable!

$54 on Amazon a new Nikon battery.

Are we sure that this picture is an inside combustion engine rather than a transmission differential? Nicely done image but nothing tells me that there's a combustion chamber, a piston, a rod, a crankshaft, or valves.
Just a thought.

There are only a few mountains, in the world that reach the altitude of 8000+meters how many you think, here in the real world, had a chance of reaching that altitude. This is a ridiculous challenge, I agree with babalu this challenge does not have to do anything with photography.

Funny but not a road should have been disqualified.

I might be wrong but it doesn't look to me that the runner ups have anything to do with tears. Am I wrong?

Holy smack can we suggest a more peaceful challenge. By law in the USA you cannot even photograph a nuclear plant or even an oil plant.

Very bad and questionable judgement by the host. I do not want to say that he showed a frightening lack of capabilities not only judging pictures but he shows that is incapable to be consistent at least. Please, make rules well defined and stick to them. My picture as well was in my living room, was the room the deciding factor or the flower, or both. Please, explain.

Unquestionably a nice shot, however, I'm wondering my self how you can get so close to such a wild and strong bird. Just wondering.

Please, make rules more clear "1600 pixel on its longest end." can be understood that it shouldn't be "longer" than 1600 pixel. Just to save your and ours time.

Thank you.
