Very good. Can I assume the dark spots are sunspots? Bob

I don't speak for everyone but I am sure everyone appreciates your positive comments and even welcomes some images even if they are not with a Fuji. Lord knows I own 4 Fuji cams but from time to...

Looks as if you are going to get the Venus transit. A friend of mine is making a custom filter for my 100-400 Canon lens (perish the thought!) and I will be outside at 3 or 4 in the afternoon...

Excellent photo. Better than the one that I took that was published in the newspaper. Bob

Thanks. It was warm and the 1D4 sounds like a machine gun. Bob

Again, thank you, Alan for keeping the thread alive. Riverside California usually has 2 air shows a year and I attended the big one this last weekend at March Air Reserve Base. The weather was...

Gorgeous! Needless to say I have a similar Antelope Valley image...band the ones of Monument Valley are really nice. Hope your GI is ok. Bob

The Exif says this image was taken in 2003. If so, it is too bad I did not pursue an S2 at the time. Thanks for posting. Bob

Thank you for a personal response. Isn't the temperature a little warm for this time of year? Now I know a little "more" about "Moore." At the end of the Wikipedia article it states Moore's...

The blue eyes on the grey cat are mesmerizing. The first macro is also very nice. Thanks for posting even if it takes a long time. Bob

It appears you are going to have to start on that coffee table book sooner than anyone had expected. The variety of trains and plains (not a bad name for a book!) is of great interest...and that...

Very nice for a hot sun. Can you give some context to the piece of art in the last photo? Bob

You were hiding this post :) Good use of subtlety in color and focus. Works very well. Bob

    Beautiful colors and composition... Bob

Sorry I didn't get to his one sooner. Good use of monochrome in a pleasant scene. Bob

That is a very fine description. The "S" raw file, for a 6 to 12 mp cam, has a size between 20 and 25mb. It is "rich" with information and I would suspect contributes to the subtleties of color...

Yes that is entirely correct. When Adobe gets it together I will be curious what can be extracted from the X-Pro1 RAW files. So far the "S" series has been the best. Thanks for posting and...

Thanks, Mark. I tried the combo at an air show this weekend and was not as successful though some came out ok. The D800 requires good technique and prime glass for optimal results. I like the...

As usual some beautiful flowers w/deeply rich colors. And yes I am anxious to see some images from your trip. I had 14 enlargements printed and framed and now, no place to put them :) Perhaps...
