I don't speak for everyone but I am sure everyone appreciates your positive comments and even welcomes some images even if they are not with a Fuji. Lord knows I own 4 Fuji cams but from time to...

Looks as if you are going to get the Venus transit. A friend of mine is making a custom filter for my 100-400 Canon lens (perish the thought!) and I will be outside at 3 or 4 in the afternoon...

Excellent photo. Better than the one that I took that was published in the newspaper.

Thanks. It was warm and the 1D4 sounds like a machine gun.

Again, thank you, Alan for keeping the thread alive. Riverside California usually has 2 air shows a year and I attended the big one this last weekend at March Air Reserve Base. The weather was...

That is a very fine description. The "S" raw file, for a 6 to 12 mp cam, has a size between 20 and 25mb. It is "rich" with information and I would suspect contributes to the subtleties of color...

Yes that is entirely correct. When Adobe gets it together I will be curious what can be extracted from the X-Pro1 RAW files. So far the "S" series has been the best.
Thanks for posting and...

Thanks, Mark.
I tried the combo at an air show this weekend and was not as successful though some came out ok. The D800 requires good technique and prime glass for optimal results. I like the...
