  • That is our privilege as sentient beings, now isn't it? :) We can work ourselves into a lather about just about anything we please, that is our choice. If that is time and energy well spent ...
  • Thanks for the explanation! Personally, I have no feelings either way regarding magnesium vs polymer, though weight, heft, makes something feel more solid to me, than something lighter. I am ...
  • Just out of curiosity, what makes that a D810? Is it the bodystyle that defines the camera? So a D610 style body will always be a D610 type camera, and should be priced accordingly, no matter ...
  • I think the product looks odd, if it comes to fruition. I mean, I can't fathom what it will do that isn't already (mostly) covered by the current offering. But I never understood the Df either, ...
  • From reading on forums, I find it odd that it wasn't a success for them. It seems highly praised, and talked about in an almost iconic way. Is it just those (few?) who bought it being very vocal ...

  • The wows can still be had, even if "nothing more" comes of it. ;) Or at least, that's my experience, but what do I know? ;)
  • No, I don't think we are beneficial. I'd most certainly say we hurt, by consuming too much of the world's resources. My thoughts resonated very well what the agent in the movie the matrix said, ...
  • Replied in dogs vs cats
Basically, what you're saying here is that dogs are mind-numbingly dumb and will do whatever is asked of them, just to be accepted in the pack. (I.e. their masters, the humans.) Cats on the other ...
  • Very interesting. Who can teach me how to do that? And how can I utilize that information? Given that I can't tell my camera, "I will have this exposure, and no ISO", how to combine the two in a ...
