I live and work in the Capital Region of New York State. I am a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, Troy, NY (1973); Hartwick College (1977) and Albany Law School (1983).

I currently use Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 7D and 60D camera bodies and Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM (UA03), EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM (UY05), EF 40mm f/2.8 STM, EF 50mm f/1.4 USM, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM (UU06), EF 300 f/4L IS USM (UZ02), EF 1.4x II (US06) Extender and EF 2X II (UU05) Extender lenses.

In the past, I have used EOS 50D, 30D, 5D and 1D Mark III bodies, and EF 20 f/2.8 USM, EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro and EF 400mm f/5.6L USM lenses, among others.

I use 580EX II, 430EX II and 270EX II Canon Speedlites with various light modifiers.

Tripods I use are the Bogen 3021 legs w/Manfrotto Hydrostatic Ball Head (468MGRC0), a Bogen 3001 legs (altered for extreme low shooting) w/3047 head and a Benro A150EXU. My monopod is a Bogen 3016 w/234 head and RC0 rapid connect plate adapter.

I store most of my equipment in a Tamrac Ultra Pro 13 (5613) shoulder bag. I use a Think Tank Photo Speed Racer V2.0 shoulder bag and a Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW for carrying around purposes.

I use the Op-Tech strap system. My options are their Dual Harness system, Utility Strap, Pro Strap, Classic Strap and Gotcha Wrist Strap.

I process my RAW images on a 13 inch MacBook Pro (2010) with Canon's Digital Photo Professional and/or HDRSoft's Photomatix Essentials.
