One thing I would have liked to see in this version was the ability to output to a new layer with the name of the effect on it like Nik does..,maybe in the next update... otherwise a no brainer...

Everybody also knows that most nikkor glass is not good enough for the D800e..(I have one... ) Leica make great glass and the glass is a large chunk of what gives the look...

Leica ius a profitable business,and plenty of "real" photographers are using Leica camera's...

Foveon is great for lansacpe and architecture but I think it's a little harsh for portraits and fashion,the skin tones are less appealing than those from a Bayer sensor..

If more people contacted DXO about adding support they may respond,their customer service is responsive .. I use Capture one pro myself and occasionally DXO,My point is that there is no need to...

Photoshop cs5,5.5 and 6 will work fine for many years,ACR is not worth worrying about,just use a good raw converter to output tiff's or even DNG's for use in photoshop... Capture one...

one of the big advantages of Aperture is that most of your photoshop and lightroom plug-ins will work perfectly with it...

Also photoninja and photoline... PhotoNinja is an alternative for LR and Photoline is an alternative for Photoshop...
