I was told that a 35mm lens "view"exists in the menu.Is this true and if so how does it work ,is just a straight digital zoom or is there some interpolation involved?.   ....thanks.

I'm a little tired of photographers draping themselves around genius in order to elevate themselves.......it doesn't work,in fact just the opposite.

Are the x100 and x100s so identical that the top and bottom of the special edition black x100 could easily be transferred to a new x100s?

Chunsum J Choi, how accurate is that 40mmm finder?Ive heard that the sigma finder indicates a little less than is recorded and had wondered about this finder myself.

I guess this is a more personel thing than I first thought.,although most cameras of this sort do have a focus confirmation ,ricohs for example.For me knowing that the camera is set to focus on...

I see what you mean,it does seem a strange omission though.Possibly the camera is not finalized but if it is it's a deal breaker as the only alternative is an audible beep which would be silly..

I'm going to reask something I mentioned before but got no response on another thread,....can any of you see a light confirming focus lock ,that could be seen from the optical finder.I can't see...

Checking on Amazon the price for similar Zeiss finders (18mm 21mm 28mm)comes to more or less 400$.Is this what we could be expected to pay when the camera eventually appears,rather than the 600$...

An evf is not real,it's just a video feed.However after looking at the photos of the camera I can't see a focus confirmation light which if true is a little off putting.

Looks more like a 35mm compared to a 24mm lens.

Looked quite hard to find a focus confirmation light for the optical finder but to no avail.Is it possible there is a light inside this very expensive finder, this being an ¨intelligent¨hotshoe.
