Canon sure makes it easier to feel good about a Sony, even a 2 year old camera.

The Sony a77ii still compares quite favorable with the Nikon D500 in my opinion up to about iso 6400, for about half the price!!

On article Accessory Review: Tenba Cooper Messenger bag (79 comments in total)

Bought the Tenba Cooper 13 DSLR camera bag.
Perfect fit for my Sony SLT-A77 II with Sigma 18-250mm OS lens.
Also managed to fit in my Sigma 50-500mm OS lens, Sigma 10-20mm lens, Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens and a 1.4x teleconverter.
The Sony RX100 fits perfectly into one of the side pockets, and all other necessities including battery chargers, batteries, filters, cleaning supplies, etc. fit perfectly in the various pockets.
The materials and workmanship of the camera bag are outstanding as should be for the price paid! Even with all the heavy items that I managed to squeze into this bag, it carries quite comfortable on my sholder.
Well done Tenba, highly recommended!

Nice camera bag!!
Just bought the Cooper 13 DSLR bag from B&H Photo, and am very happy with it.
Good quality materials and construction, as advertised.
Only thing I don't like is that the long shoulder strap is not removable, but the shorter hand strap is removable. This would make more sense if it was the other way around, like on the Tenba mini-Messenger.
The 'quiet velcro' could also be more quiet, but that is a very minor issue.

Karl Scharf: Overpriced, not even half as good as the Sony A77m2!

Bought the Sony A77m2 instead for nearly half the price, many more features and better image quality.

qianp2k: I like this new scene better, lots of areas with more details you can compare with. Hope DPR will find time to do tests again to add all cameras currently in old lab scene with this new scene.

Hope that DPR will use the latest firmware updates when adding the older cameras.

I am hoping that DPR will use the latest available firmware updates when adding older cameras to the database.
If not, then the whole exercise of changing the studio scene will be of little value.
Will take some time to get used to.

Having two totally different and incompatible hot shoes within its current camera lineup is why Sony will always lag behind Nikon and Canon. Sad, very but true. All the great innovations and then they blow it on something basic, like a hot shoe!!!!!!!

Prognathous: It's sad to see how Sony ruined the best hot-shoe implementation and replaced it with this seemingly-standard-but-not-really pos.

Changing the hot shoe was a big mistake by Sony! A slap in the face to still image photographers.

Doesn't make sense to be willing to pay more just because of the name 'Nikon' when there are better alternatives for less money and more advanced technologies!

Dpreview.com is a very informative site, thanks for all the great photography related reviews, news and forums. The simple commenting system should be a success.
