Canon Rumours has a short story about Samyang 24mm f/3.5 ED Tilt-Shift lens, there is a link to a short test too.

I happened to see this thread by change. I think this is a common problem. I know my EOS 5D camera has it. So no Firmware update is going to fix it I am afraid.

I like the lens, but I have too many 70mm lenses.
These are small size images, so they don't tell much about the lens but atleast on 5D it is very sharp
I have some photos which show the...

What is the resolution/sharpness of prints? Many printers are not really sharp. A print from a really sharp printer much better than from an average when you see it. Dpreview should test it like...

Have you tried to shoot partial moon, that is when only part of the moon is visible. I have noticed that the craters look better then.
By the way, I wish there would be some people there to watch...

It is from HTML code I think, something like "non breaking white space" what ever it means. Software glitch, some one has forgotten to add an " or there is an extra somewhere, or something like...

True. But I have noticed that pictures taken by someone else often look better than mine. This happens to others too. As you may guess there may be many reasons for this, but one reason is too...

Perhaps you should post samples. So we could judge. I am 100% sure I am not offended.
>Try bird photography.

It was more than ten ago I first saw good digital camera photos. They were good on a computer screen. So the camera does not matter so much.
It is the matter of skill and luck to get a good photo....

What I remember of really old film times is that you wanted a fast lens. A good reason for those was the limited sortiment of films like others have said. But people also talked about lens speeds...

I was checking news about site problem from the news forum, and did not find any. Then I looked in the open talk forum and here it was.
Even Dpreview staff have problems posting in the correct...

Hi
I am not sure I understand your question but if you lower ISO or sensitivity, it means that you let light fall into to the sensor for a longer time. If that time is long enough, too many piksels...

So resolution and so on are good enough for shooting stars. Have to try some day.

Hi
I have that lens too. I like it. But I use it as a normal wide angle lens with longer distances to target. If you look at my album you will see some pictures taken with it, but I am afraid...

Spec lists are allright, I usually just skip them. It is easy to jump to the interesting part of the (P)review. By the way sometimes someone might even need those lists.
But the main problem here...

I remember old audio PCM(pulse code modulation) AD converters. They were not linear like common ADC are but logarithmic, that is, they had more resolution around zero. They had to be used because...

I don't know what you mean by De-clicked, but do you really need to use aperture ring with that lens. It has so wide DOF that everything is sharp. Atleast with apertures over 5.6 or so. I do not...

I think it is the sensor. After certain, short, time it will be saturated, no matter what you'll do after that.

I liked the original more. This new maybe better technically but...

Now I see them. Thanks.
