Do I have to use all the letters?
Wow Ruth, your challenges are getting more and more, well, "challenging"!!

Beautiful shot, congrats!
Thanks Ruth, that was the first thing that came to mind!
I really love this shot, it should have placed higher.
Great shot, what hideous looking babies though!
Thank you for your votes.
This female built this nest just a few feet outside of my front door. I've heard that that is pretty common. One theory is that they pick areas of relatively heavy human traffic which may deter their other natural enemies.
I was very careful not to disturb the nest, waiting until the mother flew away to set up my camera. Then I quietly waited for her to return, then waiting more until she flew away to gather more food before I took my camera down and walked away.
Congratulations, very interesting image. Do you know what kind of bird they are?
APenza: A pair of Robins decided to start building their nest on a tiny ledge above a column under the portico and no more than 3' from our front door. I asked the kids to gently open and close the door upon entering and leaving, but they would forget from time to time and I would shutter when that door slammed shut. That didn't deter the pair as they kept building. Then after one particular rainy and windy day I came home to find the nest on the ground, still intact, but I thought that may be the end. I then nailed a small piece of wire mesh to the column and placed the nest back in it's original location and within minutes the birds were back. Within weeks they raised 3 healthy chicks and we all got witness the beauty of nature. And I got some pics too.
What a lovely story! Good for you.
Very nice and unique
Beautiful shot, congrats Ruth
