  • Advanced Operating Instructions, page 177. Record Menu ........ Time Lapse Shot. Edit . Sorry, just noticed you're referring to G5, not GM5 ! .-- Richard --
  • Replied in Cecil........
Very nice painting Ray. Yes, unfortunately there are cowardly people who kill for just for the FUN of it.  How sad. . -- Richard --
  • In the Custom menu ...... Touch Settings ........ Touch Pad AF ....... and choose either "Exact" or  "Offset"    (Page 148 of Operating Instructions). Hope this is what you're looking for. .-- ...
  • Andre, you've done a really good, tasteful job on it and I like the toning of the monochrome. No need to be modest about your skills! .-- Richard --
  • Say you're viewing a multi-story building from ground level, either with your eyes or with a camera, then the upper story windows (being further away) are going to appear smaller, as also would ...
  • Created discussions Rambler with a camera
Just another vote for the GM1. A great little camera for travelling light when out hiking. Lake District (in NW England).
  • Panny GF7 seems to tick all your three boxes (the GX7 doesn't have a flip screen) .-- Richard --
  • Replied in So long BB.
Lyle, this is one of your best portraits -- I love the energy it conveys, so typical of the man. I remember a time when I was searching, by trial-and-error, to find out more about this kind of ...
  • Apart from the beautiful subject matter and composition, I love the subtle tones and colours. Too often we see people keen to make their photos "pop" with high contrast and over-saturated colours, ...
  • Each of the Topaz plugins, if you have a particular use for it, can work well and are comparatively easy to use.  Topaz has a good reputation for customer care, and for providing regular free ...
  • If that's true, then I'd imagine this lens would work well on a GM1 or GM5 with its mechanical shutter (which has an electronic first curtain). .-- Richard --
  • GH, I really like the way you've managed to "match" the two pictures in colouring and tone, especially considering that each is derived from an original that was done in a different art medium. .-- ...
  • Nice effect, David.  Which software / techniques did you use? .-- Richard --
  • Yes, I saw that message several times --  but, as hard as I looked,  I never did find the any key on my keyboard.  Had to use Control+Alt+Delete.
  • I always like looking at old photos of people and wondering what was to happen to them later in life. Gary, your wonderful transformation into colour of this photo seems to bring us much closer to ...
  • Replied in Got the GM5!
I too see that with my GM1, especially when I use lenses that had previously seemed to be not the sharpest.  The GM5/GM1's "gentle" mechanical shutter action, together with its electronic first ...
  • Diego, you might like to go to ...... http://www.photoshopsupport.com/lightroom/tutorials.html On this Lightroom Resource page, use the link to download the free sample Chapter 4 "Develop module ...
  • Agree with Tony about the face, but I think the hair looks better in your original smudge Ray. .-- Richard --
  • Replied in Colour or BW?
Colour.  Such nice colours too!  A lovely picture.
  • Jason, I don't know specifically re. the GH3, but Panasonic MFT cameras usually have the stabilization options "Normal", "Panning", and "Off" in the Record menu. .-- Richard --
