  • Submitted a challenge entry Winter is on the way
The Grand Tetons in Wyoming are truly spectacular to see under most conditions, but covered in clouds on a very cold August day, you truly know that winter is on it's way.

  • Submitted a challenge entry Fishing for flowers
This old boat has been washed up and forgotten about in Pantelleria, Italy. Completely abandoned over the years, the fishing nets are losing the battle against the elements, and the boat is over grown by the desert type plants growing on the beach just 2 meters from the sea.

  • Submitted a challenge entry In the nick of time
A series of shots at Porthleven England on January 1st. The sea was VERY angry that day, and those that tried to pass on the road by the port had to do it quickly. I unfortunately had a huge wave crash down on me, but luckily I kept the camera dry and moved to higher ground to take these shots. Remember to always be aware of what is behind you, not just for what is in front of you!
I know it's photoshoped together to make one photo, but I wanted to show the fury of nature.

  • Submitted a challenge entry Devine Onion Time
The wonderful Cipolla di Tropea (Tropea Onion) in Italy has a stronger and sweeter aroma and the inner part is juicier and whiter than other red onions. It is possible to make a marmalade, and even a red onion ice cream with it.
