Well, well, I hate, I hate that I am doing this, but the Nikon D4 & D800 are having REAL complaints and problems with the cameras locking up. The problem is repetitive and wide spread. "The temporary “band-aid” fix is to turn off the ‘Highlights’ and ‘RGB Histogram’ display options in the ‘Playback Display Option’s sub-menu of the ‘Playback’ menu."

So if you were considering leaving Canon, or the picking D800 that is oh so perfect, don't jump too fast. And Canon, ship the GD 5D MK lll already.

I doubt this will fix the moronic noise here in this comment section. BTW, a personal note, I do not care about, or participate in the Canon / Nikon who is better debate. Both are great cameras, pick one, and get to making great photos or money.
