photorick1974: Just read Ken Rockwell's little rant from the other day. He's a waste. That's the first time I've heard his name mentioned anywhere in a long time. I guess nobody goes to his site to "support" him anymore, so he had to open his mouth. I never cared much for his simplistic reviews about equipment. I also have a problem with him, as I am one of those supposedly "sitting around collecting a living" working in high end photo retail. Sorry, a part timer doesn't have my knowledge base or experience, that's why people come to me, and not Best Buy.

Sorry, had to rant. That guy just annoys me. And yes, I know I went off topic, but he did mention full-time employees and went off topic himself.

To the topic itself, I stopped read The Sun-Times along time ago anyway, always preferred The Tribune anyway, better writers. Hopefully those 28 will move on to bigger and better things.

Only reason I read his blurb because someone brought it up, other than that, he's not even a blip on my radar. First time I've read him in about six years. Not a KR stalker, thank you very much.

Fantastic! Very imaginative setting for a photo shoot. Too bad some photographers have to show their jealous side on here. If you don't like it, give it a fair critique, don't just blast it for no good reason.

Kinda fun, have to play with the app a little bit more. Using it on an iPad 2, so a little awkward. As for having an angry photographer comment, none here. If this type of this ticks you off and makes you want to quit photography, go for it. Leave. It's about exploring different ways of making images. If we all thought that way, we'd still be using glass plates and albumen and blowing ourselves up in covered wagons. And before you ask, yes I started out on film. I hated digital the first time I used Photoshop 3.0, but have grown to love it.

That's too bad. I used to shop there when I lived in Wolverhampton in 1996. Good shop and the staff was always helpful. Hopefully they'll come out of this, we need to have brick and mortar in this industry.
