Thanks for the reply. Then can it be said that in future we may see even more pixels packed into a FF sensor so that when its downsized it will give even clearer photographs...may be a 100 MP FF...

but if the D600 files has less noise then D800 at 100% view then will the D600 have less noise when both the files are scaled to same size.......

Dear All, I have been comparing the chroma / grey and black noise profile of D800 , D600,D7100 and D4 at the following URL. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikon-d600/13 and found the noise profile...

If this oil/dust issue is real then I must say Nikon should be more serious in future since this type of problems have become a regular features in their product.........the P7000 had a faulty AF...

Dear All, I am looking for an all purpose carry around lens for my D800 and D600.Is the Nikon 28-300 good ? Kindly suggest more in the same category.I don't want to carry the "holy trinity lenses"...

As Camera MP grows with release of new bodies , super zoom lenses from any manufacturer will tend to perform less and less. My advise will be to invest in lenses and avoid all purpose...

Dear All, After purchasing D800 I have already got my 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 2.8 VRII and now I want to complete the "holy trinity" with the 14-24 f2.8 but quiet afraid about the front element...

Nice review but include the Sony Xperia Z in the comparison.

Sigma has hardly been able to produce any lens better then Nikkor.......so whats the big news......I don't think this lens will perform exceptional from any aspect.......

Canon already made a new version of 24-70 f2.8 in 2012 without VR........but their f4 has VR so don't think Nikon needs to add VR to the 2.8 version to keep in competition......
