I agree! I used a piece of wire to push it through and I almost scratched my pristine RX100 body in the process. The upside is that it feels secure once in place.

Thnaks for your suggestion, Liz.I did install the file, but no difference.FastStone looks fine with A700 Raw files. I can even view the Raw thumbnail in explorer and it looks fine.

When I view RX100 Raw images within FastStone it has a bluish haze over it. Jpgs are fine.Am I missing a setting? Any ideas?

I think you will be more than pleased with low-light on the RX100. Here is a sample shot - 1/8 f3.2 ISO 1600.
