Some (few) people will do that. However, by and large people buy system lenses and not legacy glass for manual focusing. I consider "focus peaking" a fringe group feature.

Since this flash doesn't swivel or tilt, strap a DIY bounce card on it to direct the light away from your daughter.

The viewfinder image is projected onto the ground glass. If it is blurred there it can never get sharp by adjusting the diopter.

can you double check which technology the EVF is using? You write "OLED" and "field sequential". It cannot be both. An OLED cell can have only one color per location.

Thank you. That worked fine for my 5DMkII. Plus it allowed me to set owner/artist/copyright without finding a way to run the Canon software on my Linux laptop ;)

You need to at least triple the exposure time to get rid of the model plane effect of frozen propeller. Otherwise, nice.

Think of a full frame sensor behind a lens of certain focal length and aperture. Then crop the resulting image to the format of the "equivalent"...

If I read your message correctly, what you want is the "base plate".
I recommend "procamerarepair" on ebay. I've bought a number of items from them, like Nikon lens mounts, base plates for a D60...

I'd have stopped down more. A bit of noise can be acceptable and treated in post.F/4, and whatever ISO was necessary to keep the shutter speed at 1/50s minimum.
