No1 question!

1/4000 max shutter, no weather sealing is unfortunate. The high flash synch of 1/2000 will get a lot of interest & is more useful than the cons. Tempting to sell my Canon & 35L for this. But what would I replace my 85L with?

duartix: Q: So what's the difference between running a Volkswagen versus an Epson printer?
A: Volkswagen has more gamut choices.

Volkswagon pretends everything is fine the epson wears clogs

Nuno Souto: All Samsung has to do is fix the start-up times on their tabs and they got Apple licked. The screen on the Tab S is soooo good it's not worth comparing with anything else!
If these things don't cost the Earth, I'm tempted to finally upgrade my old Galaxy Tab 3! It's been my carry everywhere photo album since I got it.

jackpro: Looks like there is a bit more detail at max iso over nikon 5500 not too bad

max iso performance gives me confidence to shoot at 6400 as opposed to 3200 iso or if I am in a deperate moment & need that shot in low light I know I have bought the best product for the money. I bank this info & when I am looking to replace a camera in the second hand market I wknow what I am buying. I have 5DII with prime lenses & focus screens so have pretty muched stopped looking at full frame but the 450d with 18-200 camera/lens could be better. For the money there would be no point upgrading unless the autofocus & low light were a lot better as I mainly shoot weekend sport with it.

Actually max iso performance is very useful with slow lenses that are typically paired with these bodies

On article Samsung introduces NX500 with NX1's 28MP BSI sensor (144 comments in total)

I have a Sony RX100III & I barely use the built in EVF I use the NFC/Wifi function all the time to transfer images to my Note4 for uploading to instagram. My only complaint about this camera would be its pocketability which means I wont buy it. Samsung please make a Sony RX100 killer as there lack of an operating system like android means no builtin instagram.

MediaDigitalVideo: D4s and NO 4K recording ?

Those video lenses you are poo poohing have much lower transmission loss & are an order of quality that exceeds standard photography needs with manual focus only. Canon are doing this because they have a good collection of primes & zooms already.

started paying for lightroom & photoshop very cheap $10/month more than happy with that. I like the subscription model updates just come through when available. Some of these exotic plugins for editing can be prohibitively expensive & a subscription is a lot easier on the pocket allow better cashflow management whilst maintaining the most recent updates

Have been using the M1 for a few weeks with 22mm nice combo amazing value, can't wait to order an leica m adapter. touch focus shoot is so intuitive. if your in to canon this is so cool & the price is crazy cheap. the 22mm lens is worth it on it's own. some random event shots with 22mm f2 no flash https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5qwZ4l4jGOWa1pTcUYyTENEYnc&usp=sharing
