This one seems a bit more noisy than the other 25,600 images.

Such phenomenally low noise for such a high iso!

While it's not aimed as a low light hoss. I must admit, I thought the 25,600 would look better. Just a take away...

Seriously!? I just bought CS5....didn't CS5 just come out? I feel like Adobe has taken the same model as Capcom. This is like Super Photoshop 5 Arcade Edition....I wish they would just support the product that is already out.

Wonder how the 5D2 and 1DX will fair against the D4/D3S.

Thanks for the fast details. In the forum it was stated default NR was on. Wish we could see some raws from this rig.

#1 fav is the NR visible above 1:1 ratio!

I am also interested in the book module....depending on how flexible it is.

davidodd: Honest question. Why would you need IS on a fast lens with a max reach of 70mm? The extra weight etc is significant for limited utility? How many would want to shoot <1/70 for portraits etc?

I have shaky hands. So for me shooting at 1/focal length sometimes means blurry shots. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to shoot 1/50 @ 70mm and still get a tack sharp shot.

No thanks. I want better low light, not larger files. Being able to crop the heck out of my photo is nice, but only if I can achieve as good or better low light than the D700.

Growl....$2300 and no IS. I grow very irritated at Canon. Irritated indeed...

DoreamonNikon: I had D3s and wait for this for a long time. When it is out, there is not much improvement and it is very expensive. Only 16.2 MP compare to previous 12.1 MP. what is the selling point of this D4 compare now only its video is good. What a disappointment from Nikon. Worse is that we still need to buy accessories for wireless transfer for such a top range and expensive camera. Is it time to jump ship to canon...

The D700 is marginally better than the 5D Mark 2. 1/3 of a stop better. The only camera with any sort of significant upgrade in low light to the 5D Mark II is the D3s, which is 4/5ths of a stop better. As for the focusing system, it isn't the best for sports that's true, but the center focus point is just fine for all other photography.

And this one has over 330 comments in just a couple hours.

Goes to show you how little people care about the Fuji X-S1.
A camera I look forward to trying out.

Fuji makes cameras? I jest I jest.

Honestly I think the all in one lens solution is better for this segment. The current line up of lens's from other manufacturers is less than stellar and really make these "portable" cameras way to large. However I wonder why the G1 X didn't come with an f/2.8 zoom!? The depth of field is already going to be hampered enough. Why offer it with an f/5.8? That's like a f/9.28 on a t3i and will probably be (don't know the multiplier) an f/10.44 on this camera! Good luck getting any sort of shallow depth of field with that.
