Question...Why would anyone buy a 5D2 over this one? Slower FPS? Less AF Points? No GPS/WIFI? $200 more? I am kinda of confused by Canon's product lineup...
uhhh....what a disapointment...Pop up flash and 9 cross types is all I wanted. Shoot either of them and this would be an upgrde to the 5D2. GPS and Wifi!? Really? I couldn't care less. Passssssssssssssssssss
Canon guy here so I don't know, but isn't the 24-120mm f/4G ED VR a DX lens? So is this shot in DX mode?
Is this still using the same sensor found on the 7D, 60D, t2i(550D), t3i(600D)???
Why not put IS on the 40mm? Especially since it's supposed to be a video lens...
sayed fares: i ' m not fanboy of any manufacturer i have the 2 bodys now in my studio for my employees my personal camera is Hasselbladnikon is much more sharper but quality of picture are similar to aps-c sensor canon pictures are very clean and i m talking about image quality at lowest iso ( raw and jpeg )
What? Was this a joke? I am a Canon guy, but saying anything from either DSLR is point and shoot quality is asinine.
Nikkon is just rocken with their sensors. Good stuff.
I almost wanna bet this out scores the 5D3
Me mad at Canon for their price gouging and lack of R&D :(
Where is the review?
It seems like Canon is getting a bit too segmented. I dunno. it seems like these features should have been included in the $7,000.00 1D X. I mean $7000! seriously!? No. They need $15,000.00 for these features....that's nutso expensive.
GabrielZ: 4K should of been available on the 5DMkIII at launch, it's more appropriate on a DSLR of that type and would of been a killer feature that offset some of the disappointent amongst enthusiasts over that camera's spec and price point.
Then how would they entice people to buy this $15,000.00 behemoth?
What a beast!
I hope this is optically as good as Canon 24-70 II. Or nearly as good.
Still waiting on DPreview and DXOMark's review....le sigh
wha!? Of all things...Don't most people mod their cameras on their own? I dunno.
I gave up on this lens and went full frame...heh figures.
grrrrrrrr....this isn't two stops better in high ISO! Looks like I will be using my 5D2 for quite some time...
