CameraLabTester: Ladies and Gentlemen,

You are now witnessing the collapse of respect on two well known brands.

Other manufactures should now take note of the lesson:

Destruction 101: Brand Implosion.

Very important lesson.

.

In reply to:

Woland65: Why are people losing respect for Hasselblad? Because they have been a brand associated with extreme technical quality. The Lunar is embarrassing because it is a piece of jewelry that adds nothing in terms of technical prowess.

If Bulgari had made the Lunar it would not have been embarassing. (Then it would just have been an ugly camera.)

woland, actually i expecting Channel :D

zoomf: It is a lust object! And quite inexpensive for Hassony, especially considering the rare materials and build quality. Should be available soon for preorder!

sony has a good negotiation skill to persuade cooperation with Hass or Hass become to dumb to use Sony sensor on this ugly design... btw who design this crap anyway..

"Alessandrini stressed that, 'This [the Lunar] is not a NEX-7 camera, just because we are buying components from Sony"
Sorry Mr Luca, what do you think if Lamborghini super sport car replaces its V12 engine and put suzuki swift engine into it.
Nice try sir, and good luck with your strategy..btw i think wood accent using at camera grip will not work unless u have plan to use it as an ornament...man that's a very expensive ornament, but Mr Gates will love it.. :)

i think there's a difference between 2.8 in aps-c and m4/3 regarding depth of field... therefore for now i definitely prefer lenses on aps-c system (actually FF is my dream but its out of my budget) :(

photo perzon: I cannot see true pros who need this godzilla monster in the same web site as those of us trying to decide wether to stuff a Sony 5N or NEX7 or m4/3 PM1 or GX1 in our jacket.

agree with roger, there are people out there who still prefer this 'godzilla monster' than nex7 or other m4/3, they divided into 2 group which are true pros and true enthusiastic. pros will carry this monster to warzone without worrying physical damage will ruin it. and enthusiastic, they will buy anything they like even this monster although they dont need or understanding what the price had offer to them.
