This poll is inadequate, IMO. It would be better to allow us to assign numbers to them since all 4 of them are of concern to me. I could order them, but I am not going to choose just one so I...

Is LightZone a program more like Lightroom or more like Photoshop?
-
Yes, after almost a year of using the E-M5 I have sort of got accustomed to its design deficiencies and weaknesses, but getting accustomed to it while being slowed down is not the same as being...

I wish they would come out with a firmware update for the E-M5 that would do this. In addition to making the P, A, S, and M settings reusable they could make the ART, SCN, iAUTO, and movie setting...

Does the digital teleconverter only work for jpeg or also raw?

Some may remember this from last summer. My recollection is that when the Olympics were finished the photos that were shown were mostly static shots. He apparently didn't have much luck for...

I haven't read through the other responses.
A 2x teleconverter, if there is one for m4/3, would give you a 200-600mm f8-11 lens, but I don't know if it would AF. Wide open it would not likely be...

I am too and that is why I prefer it to be over on the left side so that my face and nose are away from the controls on the right. That way they can be easily operated with my right hand while...

I am not so sure that would be necessary. The Sony NEX 7 has an EVF, larger sensor, 3" LCD, and builtin flash yet is 2mm shorter than the E-P3.
NEX 7: 353g, 120 x 67 x 43mm (includes protruding...

One of the most interesting things about this thread is it let a few bigots expose themselves in public. I find it amusing how some people think (and aren't embarrassed to tell us) that if...

Now that's some simple-minded, shallow thinking.

Yes, in Hawaii, Japan, and places I travel to I see the same thing that you saw.

You're welcome.
Alpha and NEX are just names, IMO. The idea of Sony being able to make a sort of universal mount system using full-function adapters is the same, I think.
Yes, having IBIS is one...

Although I don't use it anymore I still have my A7xx along with several A-mount lenses. It worked well in Vietnam, Egypt, Guatemala, Japan, and some other trips. I haven't sold it so at this...

I spent a month in Vietnam in 2000 and another month there in 2010. IMO, although it will be a bit of extra weight and bulk you should try to take the 12-35mm and 45-200mm because all of those FLs...

I notice that dpreview has their X20 review out today. I haven't looked at it, but you might want to check it out.

I can certainly believe it. By the way, there are some other reasons why the G15 can do pretty well when comparing to a DSLR also. I wrote about it here:

If it can't be fixed with duct tape it ain't worth fixing. :-D

Yes, I can understand why some people miss the articulated LCD, but I am glad that Canon decided to make the camera smaller and also increase the size of the LCD.
Activity older than 12 months is not displayed.
