Looks ok, but also looks like a pano from a cheap compact camera. Noise in the blue sky and typical bleeding or smearing in image as found in some compact and phone cameras. The images looks good...

I agree. And what the test should focus on is difference in focus tracking (not speed so much). But, it looks like both is good enough for my kind of use. That is primary tracking moving mountains...

Ok as I have read before. If you got a f/1.4 lens it can maybe be what you need to use it at f/1.4. So maybe the Canon auto-focus has an avantage vs. SLT in this situation. I hope Sony comes up...
-
Ain't the Sony SLT auto-focus limited to only f/3.5 aperture? And the Canon can in theory use any aperture? I just asking, don't blame me :)

anything worth posting...What people here typically want to see is ISO 6400 and above of... anything.Even a dust ball on the floor will make them go crazy :)

From David K: It’s possible...I think it is best to wait and see for sure. Rumors and "it is possible" talk is not informationI can trust :) Time will tell.

I don't like the turn to subscription pricing at all.One time pay or forget it.

So you think Sony don't know much about camera ergonomics? Of course all major camera brands know the history and all about camera ergonomics. Sony decided to make the RX100 small with a relative...

Odd products. If this product line becomes a success, I will be surprised.

Would this be more of a studio camera or call it "digital back"?Only for lenses with aperture ring? How else would you set aperture? And I guess Sony will make some adapters so you can mount Canon,...

First (as I know of) E-mount/NEX FF lens.So this strongly tell us that the rumors about a FF...

Some small good FF NEX primes is very welcome. Faster glass will of course be availablelater or maybe Sony release some already from day one?Fast FF glass don't need to be expensive, e.g Sony 50mm...

I guess a Zeiss E-mount 85mm f/1.8 will cost around $1000, if much less I will be happy.
The Sony/Zeiss 135mm f/1.8 is excellent, but big and heavy. And expensive, but a FF lens also.
-
Very cheap for a ASP-C. I wonder if you add $600 if it would be possible with a FF sensor size camera for $999?
-
Very excited but since it will be expensive I will wait and see if it is what I want/need andif it is a camera I can use for many years.Battery lifetime, good grip, good EVF, good auto focus, not...

The NEX 3N and a Nikon-E-mount adapter is all you need.Perfect combination! :)

When shooting indoor without flash even F1.4 ISO 6400/12800 can be to slow.Depends on what result (shutter time) you need.
Sensor dynamic range at high ISO is much less that at base ISO values.So...

If you can wait until 27 June. There are rumors about a new 85mm F1.4 lens for NEX.That would be the ultimate portrait lens I would say.But it will maybe be expensive, if it for real is F1.4. Maybe...
