neither Nikon nor Sony recycle a 4 years old sensor.
-
Yeah, and 60D, and quite possibly 70D!!!
-
If this one is called 100D, what is the road map of 60D family? 70D, 80D, 90D, and then what?
-
The CEO of Canon should be fired! How could he let this happen! T2i,T3i,T4i,T5i all use basically the same sensor!!

One of my research is to ask in this forum.

Thanks for all the reply. Looks like to me there are a lot of happy 6D users, even though some of them are coming from 7D, which has better overall specs than 6D, other than the full frame sensor....
-
I assume a lot of 6D buyers are first time full frame DSLR buyers. I have a question want to ask you: Have you ever had a thought that you think 6D is not good enough for you, and you have a buyer...

This really makes the WiFi feature of Canon 6D more valuable that I thought. It is basically a price of an entry DSLR. I don't know if the WiFi feature of 6D is as comprehensive as this Nikon...

Is it something that a built in WiFi connectivity couldn't accomplish? This is a very expensive accessory.

I will trust the words coming out of the mouth of MD & CEO than anybody else. If indeed there will be a 7DII, it gotta be now not in the near future. Product cycle for this kind of camera is 2.5...

Of course, this is my own interpretation based on what I have read so far. I am sure 1DX and 5DIII won't be the only pro grade FF bodies from Canon. Once they phase out 7D, there will be one more...

So from this interview, I think we can pretty much say goodbye to the thought of 7DII. 7D will be one of a kind, a legend, it served well when APS-C was still a dominating sensor choice of...

thanks for your correction, my bad.

of course i have to care about if i have invested in filters in this size! and it is kind of unusual for a lens to shrink that much and call it as an upgrade.

The old 30 1.4 has a filter size of 72mm I believe, but this new 30 1.4 is 62mm only?

3 major manufacturers put the power switch under the shutter doesn't mean Canon's approach is not good. The reviewer might just also add to his "personal" comment about the rear dial too, all...
-
@Nerval, you've made a point here already, if the power switch is something people will use it barely during shooting session, why put it right under the index finger? Honestly speaking, I don't...
-
If Andy Westlake is not using Canon personally, I can see why he said he doesn't like the power switch position. There are many places to look for design issue, but certainly power switch position...
