If Canon improves G1X's DR to match T2i's and do something about that Panorama feature too, I will buy that camera no questions! Even if price will go up $200 or so. I've previously owned Canon's...

If Canon increases DR able to at least match T2i and updates its Panorama mode (similar to the Sony's would be great), this would be true compact I'm looking for. I'll buy it no doubts!

I have nothing against New Studio Scene. To me it looks more than enough, it's fine.

When I place that rectangular thing from the 20 bill to any white scale the output from two Canons and Nikon looks white, from FujiFilm is yellowish.

When placed on B&W scale the whites turn yellowish from X-Pro1 sample.

As I see every camera maker chooses their own picture style for JPEG's here. Both Canons are more natural in contrast - the 70D is leading, the 700D a bit brighter but has just a bit less contrast...

Would be much helpful to compare more cameras at this new test scene.

Must say that the skin colors are proper, better than by any other camera I've seen. And greens are just right.

No doubts great product! But another small camera with a set of huge lenses, another smaller DSLR? But Canon already made a great Premium compact, perfect to its purpose the G1X. Why don't you...

Talking about improving Premium compacts... I thought it would make more sense to improve G1x which looks like being forgotten than building another PowerShot G model.

I must say that textures are so true especially at ISO 200. Oddly, but I don't see them any better by APS sensors.
