I own a X2 and don't generally recommend it to friends, even photo enthusiasts. It's more of a luxury item, buy it if you can afford, buy it and love it for what it is. Definitely takes good...

Don't kid yourself, lol. I tell myself the same thing after every purchase... it might take a few weeks, months, or even a year if you happen to hold out for that long, but you'll be yearning for...

Would like to see an update to the X2 as well; any improvement on the AF/AF Speed would be nice... but at the same time, seems unlikely.

Btw, where would be the best place locally (Australia) to pick up a GR? I've got a overseas wedding to attending at the end of June, and wouldn't mind claiming an additional 9% off from TRS :)

Brought out the GRD3 today and took a few random macro photos of the Mini while waiting for my gf at the train station. Almost forgot how lovely the colors and natural raw files were :) Dusty...

Canon now needs to release a string of mini lens to go with this little DSLR :)
