Have you ever bought a car before?

Canon and Nikon are pretty evenly matched. Certainly, you could never look at a photo and determine whether it was taken by either camera! I think you should go with the system that 'feels' right...

I've seen the 75mm f/1.8 at the 'main' electronics duty free store which is near the Asiana gates of Incheon airport. Haven't checked prices.

Thanks Ed, I'll check this out. Meantime I've found a more immediate solution to my need, which is to publish photos immediately as the game occurs. After each 'critical' shot - such as a score -...

I'm wondering what's the best way to do this? I've got an Eye-Fi card in my second card slot so I can send low-res JPG's to that, which wifi's them to my iPhone. Then, I can Tweet the ones I like,...

This probably requires a separate thread but, as a D700 owner, I'd be curious to hear what you like about the Nex6; when you use it, how you compare the quality to the D700, etc.

I had the 24-70 2.8, then sold it and bought the 24-85 'kit zoom'. I haven't noticed any difference and I prefer the 24-85 because it is much smaller and just as sharp.Sounds like you have some...

Thanks. I've got the 45mm and love it. I've been considering the 75, for the same reasons that you mentioned mainly as a stealth lens for markets and stuff while traveling overseas.

You can check out the comparison pictures :)

Do NFL photographers use MFT cameras for action sports?
-
That's what I use. You stand just as firm as a monopod; hang the camera around your neck and take your photos with the camera fully extended below and in front of you, with the viewer popped up....

Thanks. I don't think it's sustainable!

Thought some might enjoy this. Mostly EPL5, one a day's. It's hard! www.Qamera.Tumblr.com(One with the D800, one with an iPhone. See if you can guess which!)

I have mixed results. I've gone to using the touch screen to move the focus point around, then focusing and shooting. The only time I use touchscreen to focus, is when I'm taking candids of people...

Hi Guy,I followed your instructions (I think!) for enabling the SCP - but how do I actually activate it while taking photos? This sounds like the solution I'm looking for...
-
The controls are pathetic. You have to go through the screen each time to change anything like aperture, speed, iso, compensation, focus type, blah blah - all of those controls that are 'top...

I agree with Guy. I've tried the different 'auto' settings but always come back to my favorite, Aperture priority. Sometimes it's helpful to use "Face & Eye priority" as a semi-automator when...

I felt the same way after reading both this article, and the Olympus one. It was almost as if both were setting us up for a disappointing year. My needs are simple: a E-PL5 sized camera with a...

You might want to consider lens choices also. In general, because NEX is APSC format, their lenses will be larger than MFT (you can compare the different zooms, for instance). Although Sony is...

I love my E-PL5. I'm a DSLR owner (D800) so I opted to go without the EVF, in return for being able to drop it into my pocket (along with the wonderful Lumix 20mm lens). From what I've researched,...
