67gtonr: It seems to me that the Canon EOS M with its 22 f/2.0 lens would be better, it's roughly the same size with a better sensor, better screen, better built, providing better image quality and unlimited expansion possibilities, and it costs less!
Are you trying to create "the most replied post"?
HawaiiVolcanoes: Casio....ditch the Casio name....maybe in Japan it means something...but here it is synonymous with Cheap Junk
Cheap junk? Do you have any evidence for your hypotheses?
Kwick1: Am I the only one that absolutely hates the new test scenes? So dark, drab. Tough to find areas to compare easily.
I miss the globe.
I have to say, impressive quality for the size!
Arguably, still, a cool camera!
I am going to miss the globe from the old studio test.
I don't understand one thing. How can they call this camera compact?
ryansholl: *Obligatory bitching about not having reviewed some other camera*
I have to admit, one of the best "obligatory bitching comments" up here ;)
no, the globe is gone :(
Why would they not include the "real" pureview sensor? Seems like a huge mistake in my opinion.
ThePhilips: DPR, please confirm whether the thing has mic/speakers or not.
At least in the pictures I do not see mic.
OK, but that's not important. My main question: can an app written for the camera take shot as a RAW image?
Not always. Look at Nokia/AMD's marketing department.
I have nothing against Samsung but no matter how "smart" this camera is the horrible IQ doesn't justify the price tag and size. Must be smoking something if you think the image quality is acceptable for this group of cameras.
