Unless the trip is specifically a photography trip, I'd go with the "less is more" rule. Dragging around a ton of kit is not my idea of fun, and doesn't tend to go down well with the people you're...

If I'm sticking with a prime, it would be a toss up between the 28/3.5, 50/1.4 or Sigma 70 macro.
I think my SMC 50/1.4A would win by a small margin (given you can stitch shots together to make a...

Took this last week when walking the dog in our local park (with SMC 135/3.5 M for those interested). Been fiddling with it since until I got somewhere I liked.... which I think looks something...

Good advice - use the ISO button and e-dial. And then when you want to return to auto, press the ISO button and the green button. Really easy: an example of how Pentax think out the handling of...

Trying very hard not to buy a 43 Ltd at the moment! I've saved money from my move away from m43, but going for the three amigos would obliterate that!

Enjoy, whatever you choose to take.... On a trip to Rome and Venice last year, most of my shots were taken with GF-1 plus 20/1.7. I also took the 14/2.5 and 45/1.8. Now, that's a lightweight kit!

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your comments. As far as m43 goes, I think it's in the sweet spot for CSCs to be honest - decent sensor but small enough lenses that it makes a real difference to portability....

But after a while in m43 land, I made the mistake of picking up a K-5. Oops!....
This is going to be fun...
Cheers,

It's a little easier with the latest firmware ... Turning off auto ISO easily accessible through the shoot menu, and you can set ISO vales through the fn or raw button depending how you configure...

I agree the 16MP m43 sensor is much better - but I still prefer the images from my X100 to the ones from the OM-D that I've recently sold. And the Jpegs from the Fuji are certainly superior to...

Bump - both lenses are still available, but about to go to Ebay.

I have recently moved away from m43 but have kept my GF-1, 20/1.7 and a PZ14/42 as small size travel kit (I'm very fond of the GF-1). Now I have a Pentax K-5 plus Fuji X100 (not S).
The Fuji...

As noted above, the Olympus lens remains for sale but the Lumix has been sold (subject to payment).

Hi John,
Happy to either accept PayPal or Bank Transfer. I've sent you a personal message so we can do all the details outside of a public thread.
Best wishes,

Superb as new example with original caps and box. Purchased new only a couple of years ago (unsold old stock) and in as-new condition now. Check out the reviews to see how many fans this lovely...

Both lenses still for sale and still as good as they were last week! Brilliant addition to Leica, Fuji X, NEX or m43 kit......

Two great kit lenses for sale:
The Lumix 14-45 is the best kit lens I've used. When I did a bit of obsessive stuff with test charts recently, I sold my Zuiko 14-54 lens and kept the Lumix.......

These are superb lenses in great shape. Sensible offers accepted and will consider shipping abroad.
