Second best in my opinion. This image tells the story of a man taking a rest from cycling. His facial expression, as he puffs on his cigarette, speaks of his state at the moment. The focus on the hands and bicycle is great, though a little more facial detail would have heightened the impact. Nonetheless this is a great shot.

In my opinion, this image answers all three requisites. The subject's faint eye contact makes it clear he is comfortably resting with his feet up. Furthermore, the hustle and bustle in the background contrasts sharply with the main scene and tells a story. Technically, the shot's sharpness is well handled.

Very professional shot! The composition follows all the dictates for this type of image. The space on the right, in the direction of the movement, adds to the dynamic intensity. Furthermore, although horizons are frequently levelled, this one by creating the opposite of the foreground contributes to the same intensity. finally, leaving the sky cloudless does not detract at all from the main scene. Going further by eliminating small distracting details, for instance behind the woman closing the group, will improve. Kudos, just the same.
