NTLBDuck: I have had the Tamron 150-600 for 3 months and taken over 3000 photos with it. I initially had some softness issues but changing to a Canon 70D and using the AF micro-adjustment to adjust for both the wide and long range ends of the lens, essentially eliminated the softness issue.

I know put most of my focus issues down to operator error and are extremely happy with the images I get.

You can see some photos taken with it at LBDphotos (Elizabeth & Graeme) - just check the metadata to see which lens was used

On ThinkTank introduces new 'Airport Roller Derby' bag article (13 comments in total)

Very heavy, even when empty. Just traveled in Zambia where hand luggage limit is 5kg and they weigh the hand luggage at check-in. Nice agents let you include any excess in your hold luggage allowance. Iin some planes there is no way that that a back this big or rigid would fit.

As others have said, you need to be very careful to check the restrictions before you fly.

On Winter Photography in Iceland article (82 comments in total)

I was in Iceland in March and really enjoyed the stunning landscape and took lots of photos. You can see a few of them at http://www.flickr.com/photos/lbdphotos/sets/72157629763478352/

We aimed for realism in the photos (except the aurora shots which are processed a lot for us). So even a keen amateur can get great photos there.

Erez's are amazing and show how beautiful Iceland is.
