Joe, What I do know from 40yrs in design and marketing of laser & ink-jet printers, scanners, imaging software and cameras is that many refinements and improvements are iterative:) Cheers, Ned

It is a cool design Jason, but not sure you'd want to shoot with it in bright sunlight:)

But at least it's light proof:)

Thanks Joe, glad you liked it. Never actually used a PZ-1, but I'm enjoying shooting film with the LX. What a beautiful, compact design with great ergonomics! Cheers, Ned

Who knows, there could be one on its way :-)
  • Congrats on getting a GR. It's been my most used camera the past two years. I have two GR's and the lens barrel moves in all directions very slightly when fully extended. That's normal. Cheers, Ned

At least I can still use the 35-70 :-)

I agree, nice design idea and not sure why they abandoned it.

  • Nice series, Mike. Colors are gorgeous! Ned
  • Spyros, Thanks. Nice photo and she shows great shooting style...camera held properly and elbows braced on her body:) Cheers, Ned
  • Hi Bob, If a full frame were to show up at my house, I'm all set for lenses as my FA 31, 43 and 77 have been waiting for this day to arrive:) Cheers, Ned
  • Nice surprise! Mike Johnston of TOP reposted this photo of Emma today. It's at the end of his article... http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2015/03/video-monday-camera ...
  • Thanks Rick!
  • Thanks JLS, such is a real cutie and does like the smaller DA 35 Macro but even more my GR:)
  • Thanks R A. She actually likes the size of my GR!
  • She knows to wait for the illuminated frame and beep before depressing the shutter:)
  • Thanks Andrew, she's easy to photograph, so photogenic. She loves dials...she was fooling around with my GR and it took me 10 mins to reset the camera to my liking:)
  • That's so true Dale, you build a brand by starting them young:)
