Yes, but it's nearly an apples to oranges comparison. 28mm vs. 35mm. A great travel combo would be one of each. I would use 35mm most of the time, but sometimes it's not wide enough.

The Canon M is surely an also-ran, but at least it's APS-C, so I wouldn't call it a joke. I wouldn't buy one either though.
