You know who is just a gear head, and not even own an rx100, anybody can borrow one then shoot some and upload some and said I got one. From how's he respect and easily laugh at people's name, he just don't have the qualities to give you an quality comments here, all is just blindly defensed of his little un pocketable G. Yes, maybe that little G have better IQ, So? if IQ was his only concern why not just go for an Sigma DP2 Merrill?
We want an all round best pocket camera and Sony did it! And I think any brand build one like this people still will bought it, but unfortunately this is not made by the brand his like, so he is very down, sad, and so angry to shoot people who said rx100 is the best.

This camera will sell very well in Japan and China market, they got plenty money to burn. People whose pocket not deep enough always have an excuse, this camera is certainly not for you, go back to where you belong and stick with it...

alexeyga: As a ex-Pentax user, I'm speechless!!! WTF is Pentax/Ricoh is thinking about? Why release a LEGO-looking camera when Fuji has such a huge success with their retro-X-linup? The fact that this camera is compatible with the whole line of K-mount lenses is awesome, but there is one little problem - there is no "whole line of K-mount lenses" on the market!!! Try finding some quality K-mount glass and you'll see that either there's none at all, or it's so overpriced that Fuji's X-Pro1 starts looking like a real deal (nevermind Canon's L and Nikons G lenses).
So, WTF is Pentax/Ricoh is thinking about?
Its aim for current or new user, not for ex dude...

Will you buy a mirrorless camera with the same size as a DSLR camera?
Totally lack of flexibility in using the high quality lenses from other brands (like Leica M lenses).
I would buy a Sony 5N or 7 but not this one.
Alternative camera for Leica M lenses is GXR-M, not 5n or 7...
This is a smart design. If the camera body is small like NEX or others mirror-less camera, when using an adapter + their own DSLR lens will look bulkier too, other than that its look weird and unbalance with big lens mount on a small body. At least, K-01 look good and feel balance when attach with their own DSLR lens without an adapter. The important is, from the design point and lack of mirror box, future zoom lens that design for K-01 will all look like pan cake cause they can hide half of the lens barrel into the body.
Maybe it will selling well, who know? And I'm sure I want a black one!
PS: Currently using 5n, GXR-M and film M, am not a Pentax fan but still want one :)
