Make sure you have not by chance changed the default color space. I had a similar issue in the past right after I mucked with the color space settings. Couldn't tell you how I fixed it because I...

That's funny I was driving through one of their mountain resorts just last month and noticed an Israeli bus unloading a whole bunch of old couples all lovey dovey holding hands and all that. No...

Since manual focus is in the lens it strongly points to a lens problem. Sony service is your best friend :-(

If you put the camera in manual focus mode, can you focus? Also put it in aperture priority mode and change the aperture. While you do that look in the lens. Does the aperture change?

Interesting and hopefull news.
In my recent 2 week trip in Europe I was disappointed to see probably a 10-1 ratio DSLR to mirrorless. The sad thing was that the vast majority of DSLRs were...

My guess is for nuts and bolts you will be fine. Unless they want to identify hairline cracks in the material, the kit lens will be just fine.
The big problem with going with a macro lens is that...

It depends in what direction smartphones go. It might make sense for people to carry a small tablet instead, alongside a smartwatch for phonecalls and quick reading.

The iPad is not a widescreen device. Wouldn't 3:2 be better for it?

You would have thought so... but apparently the same reasonable train of thought did not occur to the Sony engineers ;-)
When the AF Illuminator is enabled it sometimes cannot meet the criteria for...

Nice set as always Justin. Love the keyhole pic. Curious why you rendered the Mary Poppins one so dark.
Also, I have always referred to my Voigtlander 35 Nokton as a CV. Why are you saying it's not?

It's not cheating if you don't lie about it.
Generally speaking for photojournalism, that would be un-ethical. For a travel magazine it'd fit right in, they're all fakes :-), for an art exhibit,...

Can you please show how you calculated the DOF for a 28mm at f2.8 to be "tips od their noses" thin?
It appears that he was no closer than 10 feet from the group. At that distance the DOF is...

Activity older than 12 months is not displayed.
