  • Replied in Andrew,
A tad warmer indeed. I believe the temperature today will be about 78 degrees. Thanks for your response.
  • Actually a walk in the County park that has several ponds and shot this scene with the Olympus 9-18mm lens.
  • Replied in Free at last!
Maybe you should title your thread, "The Great Escape". In either case you made good use of your foray. I like the crab pot pic a lot.
  • Replied in Andrew and mc,
The blue concentric circles you see in he canyon are residue from a potash factory located in the canyon. It does detract from the view but at least they are a nice blue color. Thanks for looking ...
  • Replied in Greg,
I'm very sorry to hear about Buddy. I have lost a few pets and it's never an easy time. Maybe a new pet will ease the pain.
  • Nice cloudscape. I knew I should have moved to Florida.
  • Replied in Winter ..
Brrr! I moved to a warmer climate several years ago and snow gives me anxiety attacks. That said, your image captures the scene well.
  • Taken at Dead Horse State Park, Moab, Utah.
  • Replied in Florida,
  • Replied in Mike,
It is reminiscent of West Texas but located in Central Texas.  Thanks for your comments. The first image seems to be the winner of the two. Thanks for your comments.
  • Replied in Michael,
I can help you if you have no luck elsewhere. Just send me a PM with your number, and I will ask John to call you.
  • Replied in Roel,
I agree with everything you've said about the second image. The shadow you saw however appears to be from a fence post just out of the frame to the right. The shadow seems a bit thin for my rather ...
  • As I stated in your post on the pier earlier, I did visit this lighthouse and took a few photos near sunset. But I was not as adventure oriented as you, meaning I did not walk down on the beach ...
  • Perfect Mike. And that dog looking up to the balcony, and your capture of it is certainly "the decisive moment". Nice work
  • A clever parallel to the one of the worlds great  love stories and your image conveys the balcony scene very well. It does seem  bit skewed to the left but that subtracts nothing from the story.
  • I am taking liberty here to post two different images because I am interested in knowing which, if either, has more appeal to you, the viewers. Taken with the E-30 and Zuiko 9-18mm lens.
  • Replied in Hi Andrew,
No, no restoration projects for me, at least not on cars. those shots were made at a shop near me that buys, sells and restores classic cars. So there is plenty going on most of the time. And they ...
  • Oooh, very nice wheels and great captures. How many cars did you buy?
  • Replied in Hi Andrew,
I see you are back for more punishment on this thread. But let's hope this week it meets the maximum number of posts allowed. You have some nice images to start it off and I'll add a couple of car ...
  • Collin you certainly captured an interesting set of images. Those old cars are always interesting to me. Your compositions are excellent.
