  • Replied in Richard,
Thanks for your comments. The answer to your question is no but I eyeballed it that way and I think it's a good idea. http://www.pbase.com/waynes6
  • Taken many moons ago. The first shot is from the Texas Gulf Coast under a setting sun, the second from Florida in early morning..
  • Replied in Hi Greg,
Thanks for that series. Excellent photography as usual and representative of the many celebrations we have at Christmas. And the fact that it was presented to help the homeless makes it doubly ...
  • Replied in Incoming Storm
    Spectacular clouds. Nice capture.
  • Gorgeous,  especially when viewed in the original size. Bice shot.
  • Replied in Moonscape!
I haven't shot the moon for a while so why not. Taken with the Olympus E-30 and Zuiko 70-300 at 300 mm. Also taken while laying on my stomach in a drainage ditch and using my body, arms and elbows ...
  • But then I thought, well,  it works pretty well as an abstract. Produced by trying to hold the E--30 and Zuiko 70-300 steady with shaky hands. I think I'll call it "Nails"
  • Both very nice but I like the colors, patterns and shapes in #2.-- http://www.pbase.com/waynes6
  • My GD holding Annie, my contented Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. http://www.pbase.com/waynes6
  • Taken in the late afternoon at a local park on the river.
  • Wow, I never knew kids that young were into hockey. I'll bet they spend more time sitting on the ice rather than skating on it. The youngster sitting seems to be smiling so he must be enjoying the ...
  • I would have to agree with the overexposure evaluation. I develop my raw images in LR and normally just hit the auto exposure tab. And sometimes I tone it down some because LRT can overdo it. In ...
  • well you get the idea. And in this case I don't think you'll see many trees with this much color in Texas. New England we ain't.
  • Replied in Morning
The images are every nice but I'm more impressed with your motivation in getting up that early on Sunday morning. :-D
  • Which is overflowing it's banks due to recent heavy rains. But no one is complaining because the drought in Central Texas is persistent.
  • Now that is just super. Not only is the child  as cute as cute can be, but you can see her concentration on the task at hand and her determination to complete it. . Very nicely done.
  • Ah, the excitement of living in CA. I have never experienced an earthquake but it must be frightening especially if you are in an unreinforced structure.  Your images document the damage well. I ...
  • Replied in Carol Ann II
That is certainly an odd looking crafty, at least to my eyes. Your PP seems to indicate an HDR program of some sort. It turned out well however.
  • I like it very much. The posts in the foreground add to the image and the red ship leaps out at you. Nice work on this image.
  • I took this image yesterday while on a short day trip. The small town of McMahan has only about five buildings but this one would qualify as nice in any town. The name alone is a "keeper".
