Facecrook is absolutely the worst photo handler out there. I guess this move is in desperation because your photos will look like postage stamps in the new iPod 3 retina resolution.

Sure like the way it takes my 12MP photos and hacks them down to 17KB changes the aspect ration and then as a further insult dumbs them down to sRGB.

This is so funny. I guess they tried what Nikon pulled with the D3X and didn't get away with it by the same extent.

Greed is good — until you get caught.

And I thought they were working on putting VR in the 12 year old 300mm f4.

More honesty than I've heard from Nikon the past several years.

I thought Nikon just announced a flagship. The Yamato was a flagship wasn't it?

Sounds more like V 1.1.1. I've been using it since it fit on a Mac Floppy. But it became a classic case of what happens when Microsoft buys up companies and then dumps their efforts in the trash.

I'm ambivalent about Phase One. It needs to remain a stand alone DAM cataloguer not some dinky image editor tied into Capture One.

This reeks of the iView sellout.

Whoopee GPS finally. Note - pgm is now 965MB instead of 110MB. - Adobe Process 2012 now - no 2011. Additional CA check box added to profiles. Seems a bit sluggish but that's an initial reaction.

Much better news than hearing Capture NX has been updated to 2.3.1.

Another incremental upgrade lacking integrated Coolpix style GPS. Wait - 16MP - it is a Coolpix! Seriously, who shoots at ISO 2 hundred thousand other than peeping Toms?

Hope you like it since you're stuck with it another 5 years.

Funny I can't find a dollar sign in my search. Is it .... cheaper than the Sigma? ... More outrageous than the D3X? ... Available in Paris Hilton pink?

For a moment I thought the Magnum photogs were buying S2s thus depriving the 1% of their camera jewellery.

88SAL: Im a little dissapointed that the q/a was asking information that feels so besides the fundamental issues we are interested in. Most of us seem to be more interested in expressing specific requirements about our cameras, questions and requirments we feel deserve more attention than "Do you own a DSLR and did it make you more enthusiastic about taking pictures"?

What about important questions like improvments for DSLR features, or even more important, what do people want to see from the Mirrorless generation?

Your survey description lists these important questions first, but fails to enter into a level of detail that warrants it being mentioned at all. I hope I eanred you some good money for participating, after all this is just market research NOT photographic feedback.

I think that's what I said.
