joyclick: X 100 and over zoom not far away it seems.

joyclick: does not seem to be a good enough answer to 7D MK II
As someone said D610/750 would be a good bet but for the crop advantage

joyclick: Did dpr folks have a chance to sit down with Pentax folks?

Did dpr folks have a chance to sit down with Pentax folks?
A barebone FF with either 50mm/35mm/28mm /1.2/22.214.171.124/2/2.8with aperture ring, focus ring and a needle for under/over exposure,1/4000 shutter speed,ISO upto 6400,flash sync of 250/500 is all that we need
The spirit of Maitani lives on in Olympus.Olympus together with Pentax and Fuji are trying to keep some meaningful work on and not just laugh their way to the banks.
If only they simultaneously developed a FF mirrorless.........
Do Tamrons stand long haul and heavy use and not fail?
Things that never happened before have been happening to cars and now to cameras.Japanese quality controls have been legendary, but lately, with six sigma and what have you "management think" revolutions, glitches are increasing rather than decreasing.same with the banks and financial institutions.Credibility is taking a backseat?
The two big players are big because of their lens line up.it is sony that has to catch up.Their glass is expensive and heavy.
The big ones just have to hurry creating a mirrorless FF or otherwise body only. They will let sony do the initial hard work, learn from its experience and just beeter it.
How long will the "SLR' survive?
darngooddesign: I wonder what the write speed is.
They just say class 10 and that is it,I too would like to know the writing speed.
Why Nikon does not address the poor buffer issues across their entire line up?
when will it become everyone's staple if it will?
dpr is to be appreciated for being matter of fact and not be swept away by 7DII as many folks seem to have been.
dpr you have managed to cut the Canon to its proper size.
600D and 5200/3300 are all good.
nowo1978: This is a joke, right? The honorable mention goes to the Sony camera you haven't even finished testing and not the Pentax K-3?
DPR has always seen K3 as an ugly duckling ?
