Why Nikon does not address the poor buffer issues across their entire line up?

dpr is to be appreciated for being matter of fact and not be swept away by 7DII as many folks seem to have been.

dpr you have managed to cut the Canon to its proper size.

nowo1978: This is a joke, right? The honorable mention goes to the Sony camera you haven't even finished testing and not the Pentax K-3?

DPR has always seen K3 as an ugly duckling ?

We have lost at least half a dozen camera makers from the film era.We all have to depend on those many less players. We are at the mercy of the remaining few in terms of prices and features and build quality.Likes of Cosina that made cameras for the big names doesn't exist for DSLRs.With over two decades of digital photography we still have to hanker for a well rounded, solid, durable and satisfying DSLR which anybody and everybody could own.In film days a point and shoot film camera owener,a basic SLR owener all shot FF and more on equal footing than today.

joyclick: how many do 10FPS,how often?
would 3-6FPS not suffice.
how many do pure birding/fast action how often?

would K3/D7100 deliver similar results @ 1100$ body only as opposed to 1800$ body only 7D MK II

by cost I mean value and IQ benefit per $

question is -do 'many situations' justify $1800 body only?

Tony Ellis: Finally a decent counter to the RX100 III - evf or 100mm - hmmm - but why oh why does the canon have to be so basta*d ugly!

Have Canon lost the sense of "aesthetically pleasing looks" on their cameras? even their oldies AE-1,AE-1 P and F1 film cameras look sexier even today.
