Jaskspra, I was not comparing them at all, please read all the posts sequence, I was answering another guy who brought the 70D to the discussion and just saying that the D750 does not even perform at shutter and sync level as the D70, witch is old and weak and faraway from the D750 - how can the 750 cost what it costs ???

My main issue/complain is price - 750 specs vs price, CONSIDERING the whole market - IS RIDICULOUS

I know most of the time we don't need 1/250 sync or 1/8000 shutter, and the idea of launching affordable FFs is noble, but if that is the idea than they must be cheaper, much cheaper - The problem is the price - It is not affordable - A camera that costs what the 750 costs, must have 1/250 sync and 1/8000 shutter, these are specs so old and cheap - Is so ridiculous and so in front of our noses that we just can´t see how stupid Nikon is calling us - The D70 is a wonderful example, it had 1/500 sync speed and 1/8000 shutter - LIGHT YEARS ??? WHERE ??? HOW ??? - LOL - SEE NOW how stupid Nikon costumers are made by Nikon nowadays because of price ranges ???

mls149: Why can't Nikon put a 1/8000 shutter speed on this "pro" camera. It certainly is a desirable feature to this 43 yr pro. Can it add that much to the cost?

That is the reason why Nikon will go down the drain, it´s making limited specs = affordable FFs, witch is good as an option - The problem is... The price is not affordable - RIDICULOUS when you look out at the rest of the Market - However you look at it, and even when 1/8000 may not be essential, a camera that costs what the 750 costs within nowadays Market options MUST HAVE 1/8000

Koray: What did you expect when people have been pushing for six figure ISO capabilities?

K.

Nothing to do with ISO - It is still better to set 100 ISO and have a powerful flash than having a dimmer one and rase the ISO - The guys who value and paid for a good flash 30 years ago are still valuing and paying for them nowadays

Chris Glaudel Paris: on http://www.leefilters.com/index.php/camera/polariser#polariser-landscape , the before/after example is a fake. there is also a gradient filter added to the setting because the top of the tower is darker... what a pity to fool us....

Shoot water surfaces on a cloudy day and tell me it makes no difference having a Polariser, you will be surprised

Not bad at all for DR, although I suspect the dark object might have some dim diffuse reflection and was not exactly that dark but for a 0.00 metering is not bad at all

i did this on a workshop but we used 99% water and a few drops of food colorant - It does not have such a opaque result but it works well against a blue sky or a bit more blurred background - http://www.meetup.com/clicsboa/photos/all_photos/?photoAlbumId=1312727

Nikon also should re-launch the SB-800 one of the best flashes I have ever used, specially when it comes to TTL behaviour

Affordable FFs are a good idea and its natural they lack some stuff, but the problem is that Nikon is making affordable FFs that lack some stuff and YET ARE NOT affordable

DarkLoxodromy: On the sheet seems a little bit superior to D7100.
On which model should point a new buyer (photographically speaking not video).
I had always pointed on Nikon D7100 because 7D was outdated.
Now what do you suggest?

Mike, my writing was not accurate, what I meant to say is just the simple fact of being weather sealed makes it already superior, imagine all the rest on the specs, that is what I meant, cheers
