No, I just got an email this morning from amazon that says the new delivery estimate for the lens is December 15th :/I wonder what's taking nikon so long?

I preordered from Amazon at the same time you did from B&H, and my order still says the delivery estimate is Nov. 7-10, but its the 8th and it hasn't shipped yet, so I'm not sure what's going on...

@Clint, Do you think the camera is ugly?? I wasn't so positive after reading all seven of your comments that say the same exact thing, just wanted to septuple-check...

They just announced plans for a 6-13 UWA zoom and a 85 equiv f1.2....

But it is a brand new sensor. Same size, yes, but the actual performance of it remains to be seen. Nikon also announced plans for three new 1 series lenses, including a UWA zoom and an 85 equiv...

I invested in the Nikon 1 system around christmas-- got the V1 10mm+10-30mm kit. I like the camera well enough, but the lack of news from Nikon in the past months is really starting to both annoy...
