I wouldnt wonder if the very expensive and topquality highspeed-olympus-lenses were made by sigma. since the 1.8 zoom is made by sigma only its price will be much lower.

There are external levelling bases and tripods which have them built-in like bolex(out of production), berlebach etc. here is an interesting discussion about RSS and acratech-levelling...
