That HDMI out stream would still have to be captured by an expensive high end video recorder, while this is being done in camera.
And that HDMI video is still only 8 bit (like a JPG), and not 14...

Oh really, want to explain how increasing the shutter speed above 1/4000 can increase the frame rate that is limited by the mirror or data handling capability of the camera to less than one picture...

No Duh!
Relax a little, you're wound way to tight.
It was a fun and interesting experience, and certainly not meant to be a scientific test.

That would be a shame!
More pixels without the lenses to resolve them is a waste.
Now if Canon incorporates DLO directly in the camera, that might be a different story.

Well I was right about the DOF.
My go everywhere camera is a Canon XTi and EF 40mm f/2.8 STM.
The 40D and XTi are close cousins, and both of them have amazing image quality.

1 Canon
2 Nikon
Because 2 looks like it has slightly more depth of field, and assuming you didn't resize the images differently, you would have had to use either a wider lens, or stand further...

From what I understand.
Up until now dSLR video once it was encoded into the video has been the equivalent of JPG.
Magic Lantern, starting with the 5D Mk III, has figured out, how to make the...

I can't believe that the 6D wont be far behind.

I don't believe it changed the firmware, but, I do believe it may have changed the internal settings of the camera. Most other cameras, you could pull both batteries and be fine.
There are...

If a follow up contact with Breezesys does not result in a satisfactory resolution, I would have an attorney write them a letter.
That alone will probably be enough to motivate them to work with...

I think there are very few actual owners of a 50D that would agree with the above statement.
While the 24 mega pixel sensors do have more dynamic range than Canon's current sensor line-up the...

First I'm wondering did you buy the two T3i's at the same time?
If you didn't and the T3i is such a terrible camera, why did you buy a second one?
FWIW, I think the T3i is a great camera.
If you...

It sounds to me like the software did mess up your camera.
Unfortunately the 60D has an internal back-up battery, so clearing everything by removing both batteries isn't practical.
I would contact...

There are two places where you need to clear settings.
You need to both Clear Camera Settings and Clear Custom Functions.
Try that and let us know if that worked.

I have no idea why you don't sell your Canon gear since your disappointment with Canon seems to be 'endless'.

Flickr.com has different photo groups and discussions.
You can post photos here, but, you need a thick skin.
The EF 40mm f/2.8 STM makes a good portrait lens, and is pretty good for close-up (near...

Actually all of Canon's current flashes are simple because with eTTL the camera takes care of everything, it can be as simple as put the flash on the camera and shoot.
There is/was no need to mess...

If your camera offers in camera RAW processing like the 60D or 7D with firmware 2, then no reason to shoot RAW+JPG. The biggest reason for RAW+JPG was if you were away from your computer and...
