Hi VirtualMirage. For me it is a shooting style thing – use my left eye and rotate the shutter release towards my chin for portrait orientation. Don’t use a grip at all & don’t miss the extra...

Hi Gary. I like those, great colours and highlights not burnt out. I suspect you could also get some good shots outside of Oklahoma too. Quite a different collection to your recent portrait...

Thanks Michael. It's an Avro Lancaster B1 inside the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. I couldn't find an angle to get the whole wingspan in without also getting railings, etc.

Great lens and the extra leaning/support helps.

Hi Gary. I like the images - sharp and great lighting. I don't do portraits but 28mm should be sharp enough and will capture more of the 'environment' - so perhaps it is better suited for...

Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks. I prefer the colours in the 2nd shot compared to the 1st and also the lack of reflection in the glass. Will need to get my 500 out and give it a go.

Hi Carl.
Nice link, thanks.Started photography in 1975 with Minolta XE-1 + MC 58mm f1.2. It was a great start.

Nice info, thanks Klipsen.
Same goes for the polariser & other filters from my old Minolta 300mm 2.8.What do you think of the colour accuracy? I like the extra contrast & reduced glare (gives...
