Same lens, but the X-10 scores higher in the optics department. Same flash, but the X-10 scores lower in the flash performance department. Worse and more aggressive noise reduction at high ISO, but...

Sony likes this item. Also, seeing Nikon's and Olympus' offerings in the lower-end of their enthusiast camera offerings, I realize how Canon's S100 is the camera that has aged better in the whole...

Just enjoy your S100. Great price for that little camera. :-D

As I said a couple times in the posts above, I'm keeping the RX100. :-|DxO Optics Pro, it has a "Maximize field of view" preset that "defishes" the 28mm RAW output for a wider than normal capture.
-
Let me rephrase. The RX100 output at 100mm matched the G15 at 140mm in terms of subject detail when both were viewed at 100%, thus "negating" the need for the Canon's longer zoom. :-)I compared...

Well, I realize not everyone here cares about my whereabouts, but here's an update to my purchase anyway. :-DThe GF5X was promptly disqualified from the competition, as it really wasn't as portable...

There's no need for a € 10.000 camera to take a nice picture if what you have in front of you is really interesting. Great capture, great dog!

Finally a superzoom announcement by Fuji! The 8 models they introduced in January were far too few to saturate the market. Now I'll patiently wait for a Fuji F810 EXR with both GPS and WiFi, and...

There is an optional viewfinder on this one, Samsung is clearly stating this in the specifications sheet. It hasn't been seen yet, but it should be introduced soon to the market.
-
WiFi can be used to get a remote viewfinder on a cellphone, with touch focus assist and controls. So, in a way, there is touch screen shooting, you only need to use a decently recent smartphone.

Do you see any mention to laggy operation and high noise levels in the EOS 5D MK III review?
