Confusing title. Should have been "Photos Taken from Cruise Ship"
PhotoTeach2: no No NO .... not duplicated at all ...
Your Wearing a DIFFERENT WATCH ... LOL
Very BEAUTIFUL ... brings tears to my eyes because I was also there in '69 but my wife passed away after 44 years of marriage.
Give your wife a hug for me please, (for putting up w/ you still) LOL
Sorry for your loss. Can't imagine. My wife read your comment and sends you a cyber hug. Thanks.
Ollie 2: What is that total babe doing with that old guy?
You both look terrific. Well done.
I wonder the same thing, Ollie. Thanks.
Cliff Whittaker: And she's still a great looking babe, Clal. Congratulations to both of you. My wife and I spent our R&R in Hawaii in 1968. We've been married 53 years now and she's still a great looking babe, too.
53 yrs!! Fantastic. Thanks for your comments?
Thanks. Not the same dress. We never could find one exactly like the 1969 dress but close enough. Yeah, 50 yrs is a great idea. Another group of atoms will be gone by then.
Thank you all for the nice cmments. I have to agree with those who said that I got the better half in this deal. Married way over my head for sure.
The photo made in 1969 was by a friend. Used a tripod on the 2014 photo.
thejohnnerparty: That would not be an easy thing to live with if one was reminded on a daily basis. Is that a real memorial or a footnote on history?
Thank you. Nikon replaced the D600 with the D610 which I sold and purchased the D750. I do like the 24-85 lens but would like to upgrade soon. BTW, the photo was taken in August 2013 not April 2015 which was the post processing date. I should have caught that. Appreciate your kind comments.
A memorial. Link below http://visitbudapest.travel/articles/one-of-budapests-most-moving-memorials-shoes-on-the-danube/About 10 years ago I was in an electronics store and while looking at an item an elderly gentleman asked me a question about something which led to an interesting conversation. He said he was from Budapest and as a 12 yr old child he said that his father was rounded up with many others and taken to the river. He ran down to the river to find his father & was told to leave immediately. As he was leaving he heard gun shots and turned around to see his father lying there dead. He went back & got his father's watch which had a black face.He said to this day every watch he ever purchased from then on had a black face.He was wearing one that day in the store. This was years before I went to Budapest and I was unaware of the shoe memorial.I thought of that old man while I took photos of this memorial. Poor guy had to live with that day imbedded in his memory all his life
Love it. What software did you use? Don't understand the 2 low votes.
Very nice. I thought this should have placed higher.
I agree that it is overdone for some folks but Amsterdam is such a colorful place and this just seemed to fit for me. Thank you for the comment.
Thank You! Спасибо
Thanks for the nice comment twopossums. Most kind of you and I appreciate it very much.
Well deserved. I hope to take the high road to see the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond one day.
