Very nice, very sharp pictures!
I'm liking that 60-250!

I'm surprised by the low comparative scores the K5 received compared to the Nikon D7100 in certain areas. The "performance" score is particularly misleading as the D7100 can only shoot 5 or 6 RAWs,...

Thank you Class A, you make excellent points here, and they needed to be said! I had not seen the comparison with the D7100.
Particularly the build quality and performance scores: there is no way...

Excellent! Now I bet you're going to join the "i want a FF Pentax dslr" club! :D
There's a thread per week for the past 10 years or so.... I'm tired of the threads but want the FF dslr.
You...

I would like a movie button, I'd use it while shooting/filming wildlife. The green button could be reassigned in a firmware upgrade, as HubertChen points out. But this would not be a deciding...

MILC, but the M is silent!
(mirrorless interchangeable lens camera)
So EVILs, MILCs and DSLRs together.
i vote for the reflex version.

You've got to try the 2 in a shop where you can handle them. Your mind will be made almost instantly!

What a gorgeous yacht!
I know that little beach very well (from the photos on your site), that's where we go swimming with the family! It won't be pristine for long, as the Greek government has...

Oh wow, that's nice to hear. May i ask what subject? Yachts i would guess! :)

I think a FF Pentax targeting sports photographers won't happen for a while. But FF does not mean pro.
There are so many other markets to target, and ways to make their product different. The...

Super!
Yes they are mean. We have 3 swans nearby. The 2 males are always fighting... over the girl, over bread... I don't let my daughter get too close (she's 3).

Salut Nicolas,
I looked at your gallery and watched the video on vimeo. Those are beutiful images, the scenes, people, boats, factories (...) are all spectacular and very photogenic. Thank you for...

Wow, that first shot is absolutely stunning!
I've never seen a cloud like that, it does look scary!

Sorry, i forgot to mention these were all with the Sigma 400mm f/5.6 manual focus lens.
I'm not sure an old prime 300 will offer much advantage over the DA* 60-250. In my experience, sharpness is...

Another way to able to recompose it to use the back AF button only for AF (ie, not the shutter button). That way when you press the AF button, you have CIF, and when you don't, you can fire at...

Excellent, really super!
Thanks for sharing!

That would be nice, but i'd rather have a DA* 20mm f/1.4 or f/1.8...
I think AF is important for fast lens, as it's very hard to judge focus in the viewfinder on a WA.
It would quench my FF lust...
