Looks like an excellent lens! I wonder what Sigma will come up with to replace its very good but aging 24-70/2.8 EX HSM! Anyway, it's a shame Tamron sells the Sony mount version without VC for the...

It depends on what‘s a "final" lmage for you...! If it‘s an unprocessed RAW, it could be anything you want to make it look like after pp, if it‘s out-of-camera jpg it‘s something else, which...

There's plenty of excellent image editing software on the market, although the long time Photoshop has been available makes it hard getting used to another tool...! I've been testing most of the...

Looks nice, I‘ll wait for it to available also for Sony A99 and Android!

Wouldn't that be great? IMO when all that is achieved, there'll be a real potential cost reduction. I also believe we buyers will nor perceive that right away because there'll still be...

I have the Minolta 100/2.8 Macro D, and my A99's AFD works perfectly with it.

IMHO Sony is just walking the path they said they would years ago: pursue a less "mechanically" dependent camera body, with less moving parts, by introducing state of the art electronic solutions....

Both Pen EPL-5 and E-P5 seem to be very nice new cameras, though not at the Sony NEX-6 level. I'm not really a big fan of retro design.

Ramjager, piracy will not terminate. Whoever rents Adobe's cloud will download the latest full version of Photoshop CC, and that copy may always be cracked just like the latest CS6 sold.

I just don't get it... are you trying to find some self-assurance on your decision in selling it or in having bought it in first place?
Or is this just an urge to trolling?
Either way, this...

TTT and Shawn explanations on the "cloud" are nice, but we'll have to pay monthly and forever whether we use it or not! I just can't justify that to myself, as others here said, it's time to look...

Thanks, Jay! Great info. I'll download the trial version today to take a better look.

Thanks, Glen! I actually don't use Lightroom, I convert RAW and process noise in Silkypix Pro5 and edit the converted image ( either in jpeg or Tiff ) in PS CS6. Usually I work with layers a lot,...

Thanks, Cricket. That's an interesting approach, but I work with huge files, usually 20-30MB RAW /jpeg, which really needs the power of a desktop PC. I actually also use an Asus TF700T tablet but...

I agree about Photoshop, but Lightroom has not impressed me at all. If you want to use it only as a RAW converter, it's nothing more than Photoshop's ACR, so I just use Photoshop! Looks like most...

Looks like us "independent" users of Photoshop are going to be left in the dark...! The latest news just made me start thinking about looking for a reasonably powerful photo editing software....

After reading many of the responses here, I'm convinced that Adobe is "living on a cloud"! They may have to come down to Earth and realize that in a multitude of places today there's no wide band...

Well, my current Adobe CS6 licence is "perpetual", since I bought it! Therefore, I'l just keep using it for many years...

I'll just do the same, PS6 is quite enough for me for years to come. As for RAW conversion ACR is very good, but I always liked Silkypix ( now on v.Pro5 ) better.
