I have both. I couldn't sell the E-P1, nobody wants them, so kept as collectible. There's not much difference in the build, the E-P1 probably a bit better, looks more quality, but the E-P3 does...

could it be a chinese knock off (e.g the Olympus brand logo is different to previous products)

a case of being "limited" to how many he could sell! Now where's my kid's bike, there's money in this.

It will depend on what you feel more at home with. I own and OM-D and an X-pro1. I recently shot a village fair using both (Xpro-1 with 19 and 35 lenses and OM-D mainly with the oly 75 1.8).People...

yes I think $250 ir reasonable. I bought and sold one years ago and got one again a year ago in excellent condition from Adorama in the States for about $250. I still have that camera today. I keep...

The Nikon Australia web site does not refer to it as a pro or flagship model either, just as having advanced features. The only "flagship" models are the D4 (FX) and D300s (DX).

I have to agree with the above comments. Having owned both when I used DX, the actual FOV difference at the long end, despite it being 105 to 200 on paper, was very small. IQ probably a little...

focuses faster on oly bodies (I've only osed on EP3 and EM5) than the 20/1.7. Corners a tad soft up to F4, OK from there. Focus at larger apertures (F2 and below) seems more accurate on EM5 than on...

Nah, don't worry, our local photography club has regular excursions there and I don't think anyone has ever worried about that! Thanks for your reply btw.

Please come, we need the tourists. To the OP nice collection, did you take any "street" shots as well (you mentioned the MOMA museum, how did it handle the low lighting?)

functionally and IQ wise much of a muchness. The 60D has better controls and viewfinder, and for my larger hands I prefer the grip. The pictures will be much the same, as is the AF performance,...

great portfolio, very warm and intimate, thanks for posting these. The 5th shot (in mono) is a classic, love the expression in the faces and it just invites the viewer to get engaged in the...

I've been buying from them for about 5 or 6 years, never a problem. I live in Tasmania (Australia) and delivery normally takes about a week, but no more. I wouldn't pay extra for FedEx delivery...

No problems for landscape, if you need 24mm just take a step back and you'll get the same field of view. For travel Ok for static scenes (great at night hand held) but the AF a bit slow in...

I find it an OK lens, like you say, in good light. Is the extra $$ for the PL 12-35 worth it for a casual traveller?
-
Thought so too, but once I put it on I couldn't stop shooting..you'll be suprised how much you can do with it.

Oly 12/2 great lens, but unless you specifically want all your travel shots to be of a wide angle view a 17/1.8 or even Panny 20/1.7 will make more sense. Below using 12/2 with a panny GX1. I must...
