...and another last quiestion I have with the VR:
Is the VR engaged like in SLRs, when shutter button is half -pressed or is it always
engaged or only during exposure? I cannot clearly identify it...
I just bought a new J3 in a good price and I'm very happy with it.
The FT-1 is on the way.
Mainly I got it for the following reasons:
1) I need a small camera to have it always (almost) with me...
I think by saying that Nikon designed this lens in mind to be an artistic lens etc etc ,
is more of an excuse than reality. We are full of "artistic" lenses and we lack
So far, it...
Can you tell me why D800 's auto ISO works differently with on-board flash than
SB-900 (or 910)?
With build in flash, camera sets ISO as if no flash exists and then uses the flash as a...
Although what you say has been told before, mine doesn't do this flaw. Maybe they
have corrected it now ( I have it ordered 1 month ago) either the grip PCB or
If you have a 3rd party grip, remove it and try again.
If problem persists, try another battery, maybe it is faulty.
If Err again, send it to Nikon, it is probably faulty.
I have bought it together with the DSTE EN-EL18 about a month ago and I can

I bought today a new D800. When I put a CF card in, it displayed Err, Card Err.
The card was a Sandisk Extreme 4, 4GB. Got home and tried all the CFs I have,
all Sandisks from the old extreme II to...
A well used plastic lens gets its body shiny and ugly by the hands.
Metal lens doesn't show that except very extreme use.
Check the battery door of your camera (if it is a d200/d300/d700/d800) in...
I have one bought mostly for use with 52mm filters like 400X ND hoya

if you focus on them. Otherwise the field curvature never...
Exactly. D cannot do microadjustments in AF-C because the focusing method doesn't
allow that. D is more speedy but that is useless generally. In small distance cahnges
the speed is the same. And...
I have the G, I had the D.
Optically the G and D have about equal resolution in the center (maybe the D is a bit
sharper-I have noticed that it produced more moire on distant house roofs)) but...
