While I was preparing to take some wide-angle shots of statues on the left, noticed the dove starting to fly over me. Didn't thinking at all, shot few times the way the camera was set and this is one of the effects. Better this than nothing at all!

  • Commented on challenge entry Doorway to Oblivion in the View from one door challenge

Maybe it sounds unfair, but such shot can be found in a photo archive of probably every fourth visitor to Auschwitz. Nonetheless it's an art to capture it the way to tell the story and you managed...

Living under the high voltage line is certainly not one of the healthiest things on earth, but I think a good choice for this competition.

  • Submitted a challenge entry A ray of Hope.
A wooden XVII-century Greek-Catholic Church in the far South-East part of Poland. Unimaginable deafening silence and calmness inside, with only a wind rustling through the gaping holes, like it was trying to tell about the stormy history she'd witnessed in the past.

  • Submitted a challenge entry Grodek mirror tree.
From my first visit to Grodek, aka Klomino village in Northern Poland. This former Soviet Cold War military base for approximately 7 thousand people is a ghost town now. Evoking unforgettable feelings when you trully realizes that there's absolutely nobody else but you and forces you to think about the past and the future of mankind!

  • Submitted a challenge entry Few hours away from everyday troubles.
Aaway from all the troubles, away from overpopulated concrete cities, rush and buzz.
Standing alone on the top of "my" world, in a place I love to be, watching the last sunbeams disappear in the blackness of eternity. The cities fall asleep, finally giving a rest to tired Mother Earth. The time slows down, surrounding calmness fills me through... Both strange preoccupation and childish joy takes over me.

That's my escaping.
