Thanks. The color combination looks similar and they both grow on trees but the shapes are too dissimilar so I don't think they are the same species.

Placed 13^th in the challenge. Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. Taken as it was just starting to rain due to a prevailing low-pressure area.

Placed 1^st in the challenge. "Pabitin" means "Hanging" in Tagalog, it refers to giveaway items suspended from a bamboo frame and lowered for guest children to grab.

I was supposed to shoot this billy in shutter priority mode at 1/500 second since my 70-300mm lens was unstabilized but he was in an agitated mood and was making faces at me so I snapped a shot off-hand to capture his facial expression. I found out later that the camera was in aperture priority and selected a speed of only 1/60 second, way below the recommended minimum speed of 1/450 second for a handheld unstabilized 300 mm lens on a 1.5 crop factor body. Surprisingly, the resulting image was still very sharp without a sign of handheld blur and I captured the goat's facial expression perfectly. The shot was JPEG with no post-processing except resizing to a smaller size to facilitate uploading to dpreview.com.
